Wolfgang Poier

Wolfgang Poier was born in 1963 in Austria. He took refuge in 1985 and lives in the Diamond Way Buddhist center in Graz since 1986 with his wife Astrid and daughter Elsa. Since 1986, together with many friends, he has helped with organizing Diamondway Buddhism in Graz specifically and Austria in general. Since 1990—according to Lama Ole’s wish—he started to give explanations as a Buddhist traveling teacher, traveling in countries like Germany, Hungary, Ukraine, Belgium, USA,Canada, Russia, Switzerland, Mexico, Bulgaria and others. In his private life he works as a high school teacher and as a university lecturer for creative writing and theater performance at the University of Graz.
