Gerd Bausch

Gerd Bausch finished his studies in sociology in Frankfurt/M. with the professional aim of becoming a journalist. Meeting Lama Gendün Rinpoche in 1994 gave his life a new orientation. In 2000, he moved with his wife to France, where they completed a three-year retreat for which the 17th Karmapa Thaye Dorje gave the main transmissions. Currently he works as an author and translator.
