Blakesley Burkhart

Blakesley Burkhart is a Ph.D. candidate in astronomy at the University of Wisconsin Madison, where she also received her masters in physics and astronomy. Her research involves studying turbulence and magnetic fields in interstellar clouds in order to better understand how these processes shape the galaxy we live in and the process of star formation. She took Buddhist refuge two years ago and loves to share her fascination and enthusiasm for both science and Buddhism.
