Wojtek Kossowski

Wojtek Kossowski was born in Poland and is the father of two precious ladies, Anna and Galu. His first contact to Buddhist teachings was with his teacher Lama Ole Nydhal in 1981. Wojtek worked closely with Lopön Tsechu Rinpoche and Maggie Lehnert-Kossowski on the construction of seventeen stupas, from 1986 until Rinpoche passed away in 2003. To date Wojtek has constructed over thirty stupas in Europe and around the world, including Mexico, Greece, Spain and Russia. In 2015 he founded the Stupa Academy (www.stupa-academy.org), an organization that gathers information and experiences in construction and restoration of stupas worldwide. He is a member of German and Polish Chambers of Architects, and since 2013 a member of Association of German Architects (BDA).
