Carlos Gersherson

Carlos Gershenson was born and raised in Mexico City, where he studied computer engineering and philosophy. After graduate studies in England and Belgium and a post-doctoral fellowship in Boston, he returned to Mexico as a Research Professor in 2008. He recently became a Professor of Systems Science at Binghamton University in upstate New York. He took refuge with Lama Ole Nydahl in 2010 and has been practicing Diamond Way Buddhism since.
